In Memory of Mariah Burda Mariah was a 14 year old girl diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in May, 2006. After many treatments, she lost her battle with cancer in March, 2007. The reason for this fundraiser is to give back to those who have helped her.
This event includes a scenic ride, food, refreshments, raffles, live music, and much more!
All proceeds to benefit The Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Are you looking for a convenient, affordable option to obtain college credit coursework? This is a great way to achieve that. This cohort is offered on Saturday mornings with some online work as well. This competency-based course prepares students for entry-level jobs in field of child care and development for infants, toddlers, and young children. Students study child growth and development, safety and emergency procedures, nutrition and health practices, positive interaction and guidance techniques, learning theories and developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum activities. Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, workplace safety, technology, and employment literacy, and connection to core academic standards. Mentoring on-site is built into the course syllabus.
Upon successfully completing this course with a passing grade of C or better, students will receive 3 credits from Cambride College. This course satisfies the requirements for an early childhood education course for Bright Stars, QRIS (MA) and CDA renewal. Fees do not include textbook. Handouts will be provided.

This 75 minute program is designed for anyone interested in the music of the Beatles, from those newly introduced in the new Rock Band game to the most avid fan. The presentation will cover the first half of the Fab Four's career from their first recording of Love Me Do in 1962 to the release of their seminal album Revolver in 1966. Including audio from some of their most important musical selections, the program will highlight the groups pivotal role in the culture of the early 60's, touching upon the first wave of Beatlemania in England, the conquest of America, their first forays into film, their growth as singer-songwriters, and their ultimate disillusionment with touring which lead them to become a full- time studio band.
